Reading a signal — what BUY, SELL, CONFLICT, and the + suffix actually mean.

10 min read · live widgetसुबह 11:30 IST पर scanner खोलो। एक row दिखती है — NIFTY 15m: BUY+, probability 0.78, confidence 4, regime trending। उसी के नीचे एक और row है, उसी instrument पर लेकिन दूसरे timeframe पर — plain BUY, probability 0.62, confidence 3। एक ही direction। अलग conviction। अलग position size। अलग trade। पिछले तेरह lessons ने ingredients सिखाए — candles, regimes, indicators, patterns, options literacy। यह lesson सिखाता है कि scanner जो dish serve करता है उसे कैसे पढ़ें।
चार signal categories
हर scanner row exactly चार categories में से एक में resolve होती है। पाँचवीं नहीं है। हर एक का specific action है।
Engine bullish setup देख रहा है। तुम्हारा action: CE buy करो (call option)। Strike selection तुम्हारी call है — scanner strike नहीं चुनता।
Engine bearish setup देख रहा है। तुम्हारा action: PE buy करो (put option)। Label "SELL" इसलिए कहता है क्योंकि engine directional terms में बोलता है — लेकिन तुम्हारा retail action हमेशा put को buy करना है। तुमसे कभी naked option sell करने को नहीं कहा जाता।
तीनों engines आपस में disagree कर रहे हैं। Indicator engine एक direction देख रहा है, Candlestick या Smart Money engine दूसरी। यह information है, malfunction नहीं — इस moment पर market वाक़ई indecisive है। सही action आमतौर पर wait करना है।
कोई engine meaningful directional reading नहीं दे रहा। Flat tape, low conviction, transitional regime। बग़ल हो जाओ।
SELL trap word है। Category का नाम SELL है क्योंकि engine bullish/bearish में बोलता है — लेकिन user action PE buy करो है। Retail के लिए put buy करना का downside limited है (paid premium जितना)। Retail के लिए naked option sell करना का risk unlimited है। OptionLab कभी naked sell करने को नहीं कहता। SELL → PE buy। हमेशा।
+ suffix — इसमें ख़ास क्या है
कभी-कभी category plain BUY या SELL की जगह BUY+ या SELL+ के रूप में दिखती है। Plus decoration नहीं है। यह signal करता है — highest conviction tier जो engine produce कर सकता है।
Plus आने के लिए दो conditions दोनों true होनी चाहिए:
- तीनों engines same direction पर agree करें। Indicator engine bullish, Candlestick engine bullish, Smart Money engine bullish। कोई abstention नहीं, कोई dissent नहीं। यह cascade gate है — हर engine same way vote करे, सिर्फ़ majority नहीं।
- Probability high-conviction threshold से ऊपर हो। सिर्फ़ "50/50 से ऊपर" नहीं — काफ़ी ऊपर। Engine confident enough हो कि setup unusually clean है, सिर्फ़ slightly favoured नहीं।
जब दोनों होते हैं, plus दिखता है। मोटे तौर पर — plain BUY का मतलब है "majority agree, एक engine abstain"। BUY+ का मतलब है "सब aligned, और engine unusually sure है"। Position size उसी हिसाब से scale होता है — BUY+ same underlying के plain BUY से बड़ा allocation deserve करता है।
Regimes lesson में तुमने सीखा कि regime context indicator readings को filter करता है। Plus suffix वही filtering है जो cleanest cases में produce होता है। यह rare on purpose है। ज़्यादातर rows plain BUY, plain SELL, या NEUTRAL होंगी। Plus gift है, norm नहीं।
Probability vs Confidence — दो अलग numbers
हर signal row पर दो numbers दिखते हैं जिन्हें traders constantly confuse करते हैं। वे अलग questions answer करते हैं।
Probability (0.62, 0.78 etc. के रूप में दिखती है) answer करती है: engine का estimate क्या है कि यह direction play out होगी? यह 3-engine vote को एक single number में summarise करती है। Higher probability मतलब higher estimated edge — लेकिन यह फिर भी probability है, guarantee नहीं।
Confidence (1 से 5 के रूप में दिखती है) answer करती है: Indicator engine के अंदर के indicators आपस में कितनी strongly agree कर रहे हैं? अगर वे सब same way point करते हैं, confidence high। अगर आधे bullish lean कर रहे हैं और आधे neutral, confidence mid-pack।
एक signal की high probability और low confidence हो सकती है — 3-engine vote strong थी, लेकिन indicators split थे। एक signal की low probability और high confidence हो सकती है — indicators सब agree किए, लेकिन Candlestick और Smart Money engines ने push back किया। दोनों numbers matter; दोनों एक reason से दिखाए जाते हैं।
Anchor row पढ़ना
अब वो row जिससे तुमने शुरू किया था — NIFTY 15m, BUY+, probability 0.78, confidence 4, regime trending।
Decoded: engine bullish setup देख रहा है (action: CE buy)। तीनों engines agree किए (plus suffix)। Probability high-conviction threshold से well above (0.78)। Indicator engine के indicators largely in sync (confidence 4 of 5)। और यह trending regime में हो रहा है — exactly वो context जहाँ opposing indicators कम weight carry करते हैं और aligned indicators ज़्यादा।
दूसरी row — plain BUY, probability 0.62, confidence 3 — same direction है लेकिन कहीं कम conviction के साथ। दो engines agree किए, एक abstain या barely neutral cross किया। Indicators mixed थे। तुम फिर भी trade ले सकते हो, लेकिन छोटी position, tighter risk के साथ — या तुम wait कर सकते हो जब तक यह plus तक ripen हो जाए।

BUY in trending is a fundamentally different setup than BUY in volatile_chop, even when probability and confidence look similar. SELL never means "sell" — it means buy a PE. The buyer's max loss is always the premium paid.अपना पहला signal पढ़ो
- Scanner खोलो। कोई भी F&O instrument और कोई भी timeframe चुनो जो तुम्हारे plan पर available हो।
- एक clean BUY या SELL row ढूँढो — बिना plus के। Probability और confidence पढ़ो। Regime tag क्या है?
- अगर उसी session में BUY+ या SELL+ मिले, दोनों को side by side compare करो। Note करो कि probability और confidence दोनों कैसे differ करती हैं।
- Act करने का urge अभी resist करो — Lesson 15 filter setup और Strategy Lab walk through करता है इससे पहले कि कोई live action हो।
- चार categories: BUY (CE buy), SELL (PE buy — कभी naked sell नहीं), CONFLICT (engines disagree, usually wait), NEUTRAL (कोई setup नहीं)।
- + suffix तब आता है जब तीनों engines agree करते हैं और probability high-conviction threshold cross करती है। Plain signals common हैं; plus signals rare हैं और बड़ी position sizing deserve करते हैं।
- Probability 3-engine vote का summary है। Confidence यह है कि Indicator engine के indicators कितने unanimous हैं। ये अलग questions हैं; दोनों दिखाए जाते हैं।
- CONFLICT information है — मतलब market वाक़ई indecisive है, scanner broken नहीं।
- SELL का मतलब कभी sell नहीं। SELL का हमेशा मतलब PE buy है।
